Our client is a well-established manufacturing business based in Surrey, employing a dedicated team of 50 staff. They are currently seeking a Finance Manager to join their accounts department.
As the Finance Manager, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and improving financial stability. You will be responsible for producing monthly management accounts, overseeing VAT returns, and supervising a small team of junior staff. The successful candidate should be highly proficient in excel and possess strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Prepare monthly management accounts, financial reports, and analysis.
- Ensure timely and accurate VAT returns.
- Supervise and mentor junior staff members.
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting.
- Manage cash flow and monitor financial transactions.
- Collaborate with external auditors and regulatory bodies as needed.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and contribute to financial process improvements.
- Provide financial analysis and support to senior management.
- Previous experience in a finance management role.
- Strong proficiency in Excel.
- Knowledge of VAT and financial regulations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
