A highly successful and growing global manufacturing and distribution business are seeking a UK Finance Director to join their team on a permanent basis.
Reporting into the Country Manager and EMEA Finance Director, this position will be a hands-on role helping ensure the company’s rapid, organic growth trajectory, delivering all accounting, planning and reporting.
Key duties will include:
- Defining and leading the financial strategy for UK operations.
- Business partnering the executive leadership team.
- Reviewing all existing finance procedures and business models to streamline processes.
- Preparing budgets and forecasts alongside MD, monitoring and scenario planning where required to maximise cash flow.
- Leading on the technical aspects of statutory and management accounting, reporting and audit, ensuring compliance with IFRS.
- Managing and mentoring teams across finance, logistics and warehouse functions.
- Developing and maintaining excellent relationships with Group stakeholders both UK and Worldwide.
The ideal Finance Director for this position will have:
- An ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification.
- A commercial, entrepreneurial mindset.
- A hands-on approach to ensuring projects are delivered and reporting deadlines achieved.
- Proven experience within a strategic finance leadership role.
- Strong people management skills and the ability to inspire, leading from the front.
- Product based business
- Some operational oversight preferred (Warehouse/Facilities etc)
