My client is a predominantly self-sufficient revenue generating 6 million turnover Charity. Through good stewardship and collaboration with every part of the local community, the Trust oversees a large estate of commercial and leisure facilities – helping a vibrant part of London to continue to thrive.
They have an amazing opportunity available, for an experienced Financial Accountant to join their team. This will be a key role in the Trust, responsible for producing both the management and draft statutory accounts and ensuring that budget holders are aware of their P&L, budget and forecast positions. The role will also support the Head of Finance and IT in group budgeting and forecasting, along with the implementation of the financial elements of the strategy, deputising in their absence.
The role is suited to an effective problem solver with a strong desire to make change and achieve excellent results for the Trust and the communities they serve. It requires someone who can contribute confidently to the leadership and management of the whole Trust, in line with its values and strategic plans.
To be considered you will have a charity background and be familiar with SORP. You will have strong management accounting and excel experience. Statutory accounts exposure is desirable.
Paying £40,000-45,000 per annum, plus a generous benefits package. Study support might be considered for someone still studying and keen to qualify. Option to work from home a day or two a week. 25 days holiday, hours 9-5.30.
