A large corporate based in Sutton has an opportunity available for an experienced Accountant to join their team, initially on a 3-month fixed term contract with further opportunities likely thereafter.
Responsibilities:
- Work with the wider finance team and the business to understand cash requirements by entity.
- Monitor and manage the company’s liquidity and cash flow
- Management of cash holdings across all units, including both sterling and foreign currency.
- Reconciliation of some of balance sheet accounts.
- Currency hedging
- Monthly calculation of key balance sheet provisions.
- Maintain an efficient system of policies and procedures that adequately control payment and cashflow activities
- Role will also have a focus on some exciting project work
Requirements:
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
- Confident self-starter
- Well organized, with strong time management skills and the ability to multi-task and prioritize.
- Pro-active communicator
- Excellent attention to detail
- Intermediate/advanced Excel skills
- Team-player with strong people skills
- Knowledge of SQL is beneficial
Detail:
- £60-65,000 per annum FTE
- Hybrid working 3/2 split
- 9-5.30 hours
