Cameron Pink is excited to exclusively represent a global, market leading Retail Distributor in their search for an Operations Director. This newly created role has been devised as the company positions itself for further ambitious but attainable growth over the next three years.
As Operations Manager you will provide end-to-end, supplier-to-customer supply chain service & relationship management.
Duties will include:
•Management of all logistics, distribution and warehousing across the business
•Management of demand planning function & forecast analysis.
•Communication with customers, warehouse & intermediaries for sales order, stock deliveries and collections.
•Responsible for customer service levels; regular contact with customers to ensure orders are delivered on time.
•Daily management of 3rd party logistics providers and performance review.
•Responsible for stock levels stock reconciliation reporting.
•Weekly stock reports.
•Creation & management of Purchase Orders in accordance with company procedures.
•Manage & record all stock movements, with clear & timely communication to stakeholders.
•Timely approval of supplier invoices in accordance with contracted prices
•Assist in the timely close of reporting periods.
•Propose improvements to procedures & systems.
•Two personnel reporting into you (sales and analysis support)
Knowledge, Experience and Qualifications required
•Operational full-time experience in supply chain / operations
•Experience of dealing with outside business partners: customers, manufacturers, suppliers, freight forwarders and warehouses.
•An organised individual with excellent time management skills with the ability to work constructively under pressure and to required deadlines.
•Attention to detail , monitoring prices, quantities ordered, delivery dates and investigating abnormalities
•Accurate and concise reporting skills with the ability to proactively analyse and validate data
•High level of Competency in Excel, number and analytical skills
•Competency in use of Outlook, Word & Power Point
•Looking to continually improve procedures within the job area.
