My client is a fast-growing international development consultancy operating in countries affected by conflict. Their team is led by experts who specialise in designing, implementing and evaluating programmes to reduce and improve institutional capacity.
They require a Management Accountant who will undertake all aspects of corporate accounting, including project accounting, forecasts preparation, as well as development of internal control policies and procedures.
You will be tasked to:
•Manage accounting operations including billing, A/R, A/P, GL, cost accounting, inventory accounting and revenue recognition.
•Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements.
•Develop trends and cash flow projections for the firm’s finances.
•Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
•Manage the operations of the finance department, set goals and objectives, and design a framework for these to be met.
•Be involved with the annual company audit, planning for inputs to the audit process in close consultation with the company’s auditors.
•Partnering senior leaders to review monthly reporting and working with them on future forecast and budgeting activities
•Be involved with the development of appropriate finance procedures, processes and policy for the Company’s international operations.
To be considered you will be part qualified ACCA or CIMA with management accounts experience.
