Head of Finance

Our client, a subsidiary of a renowned international group specializing in high-tech products for the healthcare sector, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Finance to join their team in Berkshire. This role plays a pivotal part in overseeing financial operations, ensuring accounting compliance, and providing strategic financial leadership to drive the company’s growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Leadership: Provide strategic financial guidance to the organization and ensure alignment with corporate objectives.
• Team Management: Lead and mentor a small finance team, fostering a culture of excellence, teamwork, and professional growth.
• Compliance and Reporting: Oversee financial accounting, reporting, and budgeting to maintain strict adherence to industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Financial Planning: Develop, implement, and monitor financial plans, forecasts, and budgets, identifying areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities.
• Risk Management: Identify and mitigate financial risks and vulnerabilities, ensuring the financial stability of the organization.

Qualifications and Experience:

• A recognized accounting qualification (CIMA, ACCA or ACA).
• Proven experience in a similar leadership role within a manufacturing organization, preferably in the healthcare or high-tech sector.
• Strong knowledge of financial and accounting principles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
