Cameron Pink is excited to represent a renowned heritage retail brand in their search for a newly created position of Group Digital Manager. This prestigious family owned organisation have fallen behind the times and are in need of focused individual, with prior experience in digital transformation and strategy. The role will be pivotal in providing modernisation across all aspects of the company’s online presence. Effectively collaborating with different teams to ensure brand consistency and delivering optimum user experience/revenue growth.
Duties:
Commercial strategy
- Plan/develop and deliver an effective digital strategy
- Produce roadmaps that consider resourcing and technical dependencies
- Collaboration with internal stakeholders to achieve commercial objectives and KPIs;
- Responsible for identifying opportunities to lead the evolution of the digital function (identifying customer pain points and emerging customer needs and behavioural trends)
- Develop promotion plans and new sales generating strategies.
Digital
- Technical and commercial success of digital media, through project planning and delivery, taking the lead in bringing solutions to the table;
- Design, development and delivery of differentiated UX / UI across all digital channels
- Management and optimisation of digital channels (ecommerce, social, mobile, email, SEO, affiliates)
- Drive the digital presence forward by creating and managing digital road map
- Ensure brand consistency and train internal teams to use digital technologies
- Ensure smooth operation for all digital tools and applications
- Ensure proper security measures are in place
- Generate innovative ideas to increase web traffic
- Harness the power of SEO, heat mapping, analytics, relevant traffic to the website
Marketing
- Help develop product marketing and promotional content schedules for all digital media
- Drive and manage digital marketing initiatives from conception through to delivery and analysis
- Monitor effectiveness of all digital marketing
Web
- Oversee and co-ordinate web operations including – upload, merchandising and management of products, liaising with Business Units on product launches, coordinating digital critical path for product and season launches, liaising with central distribution on web fulfillment, general web administration
Customer Service
- Working alongside Customer Services and business operations to oversee the delivery of an excellent customer experience
- Focus on engaging and retaining existing customers whilst also delivering new acquisition and re engaging lapsed customers
Other
- Ensure the company’s digital operations remain current
- Oversee ecommerce photoshoots
- Maintain the digital library of images, logos and videos used on digital channels
- Partner management for delivery of all aspects of the organisations digital customer experience
Reporting and Analysis
- Provide detailed weekly/monthly/annual reports
- Provide analysis and insight to improve service and offering to customers and drive sales
- Analyse SEO and marketing metrics
- Regular performance reporting and identification of conversion opportunities
Requirements
- Excellent digital skills combined with knowledge of the latest marketing techniques
- Solid experience of digital channels, online marketing tools and web technologies
- Hands-on experience of managing multiple ecommerce sites and driving web development projects
- Good knowledge of SEO, web site performance / load testing and monitoring / analytics, online development and UEx and UI;
