My client is an award-winning digital agency based in impressive offices on London’s South Bank. They have over a decade of experience tackling complex digital problems and finding smart solutions for enterprise clients. Being a full-service agency, they build, maintain, and improve websites. They also partner Microsoft and have a deep knowledge of SharePoint, Teams and the whole 365-suite. Due to planned expansion into new industries, new businesses and new technologies they are seeking an Account Director on a permanent basis.
The role will help develop new business logos, responding to RFP’s, putting together tenders, proposals and pitches. It will manage accounts won, overseeing delivery of projects and long-term strategic account management.
Responsibilities
- Plan and execute sales based on leads from (but not limited to) Tenders, Marketing qualified Leads and referrals
- Work with sales and the marketing team to monitor activities and recognise Sales campaign opportunities
- Collaborate with all staff across the company, to win new work and keep clients happy
- Cultivate long-term client relationships
- Control all aspects of account management, including close contact with the client and financial accountability
- Produce accurate revenue forecasts for new and existing clients
- Create, develop and own strategic and tactical plans to help your clients achieve their objectives
- Negotiate project renewals and contracts
- Produce high-quality reports for your clients as well as reports and presentations to senior management and proposals/pitches to prospective clients
- Develop relationships with our strategic partners and third parties
- Listen to the needs of the market and clients and share your knowledge internally
- Develop your own networks across the client organisation
- Take advantage of all opportunities to network with industry peers and prospective clients
- Clearly communicate client and budget issues to senior management
- Work with the marketing department to promote our achievements
- Secure and exceed revenue targets of £800k per year (new business wins circa 20-200k in value)
Requirements
- Experience in software or marketing solution sales
- Experience with both business development and client account management
- Experience of indirectly managing technical and creative staff
- Impeccable communication and organisation skills
- Excellent consulting, writing, editing, presentation and communications skills;
- Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines – this includes having the flexibility to be able to do this
- Ability to build strong internal and external relationships;
- Self-starter with high level of self-motivation.
Nice to haves
- Experience in one of the company’s technical offerings – SharePoint, Microsoft 365, Umbraco, Sitecore
- Mobile expertise
- Good IT skills in Excel, Adobe Creative Suite, Word, Outlook and CRM and CMS systems
- Experience using HubSpot to build and report on pipeline of leads, opportunities and customer lists
Package
Salary Expectation:
- Up to £60k dependent on experience
- OTE c£85K
